The Institute for Quantitative Theory and Methods at Emory University invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position in Statistics, to begin Fall 2017. Initial appointment is for a period of three years with renewals and promotions possible within the lecture-track.
Responsibilities include Emory’s standard lecture-track faculty teaching load of five courses, supporting administration of the undergraduate program through advising undergraduates, and participating in the life of the college through committees and other forms of academic service.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Statistics or a Ph.D. with an emphasis on Statistics in a related field (e.g, Economics, Anthropology, Psychology, Political Science, Sociology). Candidates must be excellent teachers, effective advisors, and have the potential to administer our undergraduate program. Candidates should have completed their degrees by Fall 2017.
