We are conducting a senior-level (tenured Associate or Full) search for either a social scientist whose work, including on the present day, is animated by historically-inflected methods and materials, or a historian whose work is deeply informed by the social sciences.

Departments involved in the search include Economics, History, Political Science and Sociology.

The successful candidate will be appointed in the home department and serve on the faculty board of Yale's Center for Historical Enquiry & the Social Sciences (YaleCHESS).
