Fordham's Economics Department welcomes applications for a Fall 2017 tenure-track appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor. Preferred candidates will have research and teaching interests in urban development in developing and/or OECD countries. Our Department serves a diverse student body at two campuses in New York City, at Lincoln Center and at the larger Rose Hill campus in the Bronx (the primary campus for this position is negotiable). The chosen candidate will participate in undergraduate and graduate M.A. and Ph.D. Economics programs as well as interdisciplinary programs in Urban Studies, Humanitarian Studies and in International Political Economy and Development.

Tenure at Fordham requires publication in high profile journals as well as excellent teaching in our graduate and undergraduate programs. Candidates with demonstrated research potential and who expect to complete their PhD by August 2017 are encouraged to apply.
