Position Title/Short Description

The Department of Economics is seeking applications for three full-time tenure-track positions, two at the rank of Assistant Professor and one at the rank of Associate Professor in Economics. All fields will be considered, but priority will be given to applied economics, econometrics and macroeconomics.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Economics (or near completion).
• Expertise in one of the fields mentioned above.
• Ability to conduct high-quality research.
• Teaching experience is an asset.
• Proficiency in French (The language of instruction at Université de Montréal is French. In accordance with the institution’s language policy , Université de Montréal provides support for newly-recruited faculty to attain proficiency in French..)

Starting Date: on or after June 1st, 2017.
