Department of Economics at California State University, Chico invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Labor Economics. Secondary fields such as Health, Education, Public, and Development Economics will also be considered. The successful candidate will teach Labor Economics, Economics of Gender and Race, and some of the core courses (the list of core courses are: Principles and Intermediate Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, Statistics, and Econometrics).

Position is contingent upon funding. Salary is competitive. Must complete requirements for Ph.D. in economics or related field prior to the beginning of the August 2017 contract. Teaching experience is highly desirable. Candidate must maintain an active program of research.
