The Department of Economics at Virginia Tech invites applications for a tenure-track Associate Professor to conduct empirical research and teach at all levels in one of the following applied microeconomics areas: Health, Labor and Development. Candidates with a track record of external funding are preferred.
The appointment begins August 2017. The Department is in a growth phase and will hire several positions over the next few years.
Candidates should have an earned doctorate in economics, or related discipline, and an outstanding academic record including an internationally recognized level of professional achievement, commensurate with a tenured associate professor appointment at Virginia Tech.
