Assistant Professor of Economics

The Economics Department at Carthage College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position commencing August 2017. A Ph.D. is preferred, but ABD will be considered with Ph.D. required at time of appointment. While outstanding candidates with any specialization will be considered, preferred fields include behavioral, environmental, and international economics. The standard teaching load is three courses per semester, plus a January term course two of every three years. The successful candidate will help the department deliver its core curriculum, mentor students in undergraduate research, teach courses in his or her areas of specialization, teach principles of economics, conduct scholarship, and provide service to the department and College.
