Position Description:
The Risk and Insurance Department at the Wisconsin School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position open to any rank effective Fall 2017. We seek applicants with demonstrated research interest in areas related to the competitive environment, business structure, and regulatory environment of healthcare and health insurance markets. The ideal candidate will have expertise on a topic such as: the evolving landscape of employer-based health insurance, the causes and consequences of consolidation and competition among healthcare providers and insurers, the interactions between public and private health insurance, or the effects of the ACA and other healthcare and health insurance regulations and reforms.

Job Qualifications:
Applicants are expected to hold a PhD in economics, risk management and insurance, actuarial science, statistics, or related fields prior to the start of the appointment.
