The Department of Economics at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) invites applications for a tenure track position in economics at the assistant professor level. The successful candidate will work in the Economics Department and with the Center for the Study of Government and the Individual (CSGI) to conduct research, teach, and do community outreach. The assistant professor position is funded for five years.
Preference for highly qualified candidates will be given to applicants specializing in any of the following areas:
US Economic History (N11, N12), or
Economic Education (A2), or
Environmental Economics (Q5).
Position is open until filled. Applications received by December 5, 2016 will receive full consideration. Interviews will be conducted January 6 through 8, 2017 at the ASSA meetings in Chicago, IL.
Ph.D. in Economics is required (applications from ABD candidates will be accepted, but degree must be completed prior to beginning employment).
