The Department of Economics at the University of North Texas invites applications for a lecturer position
beginning September 2017. The initial appointment is for 3 years, with the possibility of continuing
reappointment. The candidate will teach macroeconomic theory at both the undergraduate and
graduate (master's) level. Applications will continue to be accepted until the position is closed.
Required Qualifications:
A PhD in economics at the time of appointment; teaching experience at the university level; and a field
in a macroeconomics-oriented area.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with multiple years of teaching experience; those that have areas
of concentration in international economic and economic development; those who have taught
principles and intermediate macroeconomics, comparative economic systems, economic cycles and forecasting, and money and financial institutions; and
