The department of Economics and Finance invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin in August 2017. The search is open to applicants in Economics or Finance. The successful candidate will be expected to teach and participate in the full range of faculty responsibilities.

The teaching duties include quantitative methods in addition to standard undergraduate economics courses, with opportunities in finance if the candidate is qualified. Excellence in teaching and research is expected, and mentoring student research is highly encouraged. We are particularly interested in candidates who wish to combine their teaching and research skills with a close working relationship with the professional business community. Research and publication are required for tenure and promotion.

A doctorate in economics is required for tenure-track appointment; ABD will be considered for temporary appointment at instructor rank, pending completion of doctorate by August 2017.
