The Department of Business and Economics, University of Southern Denmark, invites applications for one or more vacant professorships with special responsibilities within the area of Economics to be filled as soon as possible.

The research and teaching activities at the department are organized within four groups: Accounting & Finance, Econometrics & Management Science, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics, International Economics & Economic History. Furthermore, the cross-faculty centre COHERE, which undertakes research in health economics is highly integrated in the department.
It is the aim of the department to conduct research of high international standards documented through publications in internationally distinguished journals and presentations at international conferences.

Applicants should have a strong academic background within economics. This must be documented by a number of published contributions of a high international standard, as well as proposals for future research in economics. Applicants should have experience with research management, and are expected to be or to have been supervisor for Ph.D. students. Finally, substantial teaching experience within economics at the undergraduate and the graduate level is required.
