The Department of Economic Sciences invites applications for a tenure track Associate Professor. The position is subject to budgetary approval.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have an exceptional publication record. Candidates will teach two graduate classes each semester (fall and spring). We are interested in candidates who have research broadly in applied microeconomics and applied econometrics. Research interests using field experiments, behavioral economics, and/or neuroeconomics are valued as is research that enhances Claremont Graduate University's diversity goals. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience and/or capacity for advising a diverse student body and will have the ability to contribute to building Claremont's graduate program. A cross-disciplinary perspective in teaching or research, readiness to mentor graduate students, and the ability to work with a diverse group of students are also important characteristics of a candidate.
Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
