The Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor faculty position in environmental sustainability. The successful candidate may apply for early-tenure with the requisite qualifications. Candidates should demonstrate high promise as a researcher and an appropriate research agenda. Faculty will be expected to teach environmental policy and sustainability-related courses in the Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs program, the Master of International Affairs, and the Master of Public Administration concentration in urban development and sustainability.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates with interests in contributing to Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs, Master of International Affairs, the Master of Public Administration urban development and sustainability concentration, and to those with a demonstrated ability to also teach one of the following core courses in the Master of Public Administration program: economic analysis & public policy or in the research and analysis sequence. Also required are demonstrated scholarship or achievement.
