The Harris School of Public Policy seeks applicants for a two-year postdoctoral scholar position to study political economy. The postdoctoral scholar will spend approximately 50% of their time supporting a research project led by Professor Diermeier and 50% of their time working on their own research. There are no teaching obligations. Candidates are preferred, but not required, to have their Ph.D. in either Economics or Political Science by July 1, 2017. Applicants should have strong skills in game-theory (classical or behavioral) or stochastic modeling (evolutionary game-theory, stochastic dynamic models, or related fields). Strong LaTeX or scientific workplace skills required. Demonstrated record of effective editing and written communication skills preferred. Candidates are required to submit: 1) CV; 2) cover letter; 3) statement of research interests; 4) sample of research paper; and 5) List of three references.
