IHS Markit (NASDAQ: INFO) is a world leader in critical information, analytics and solutions for the major industries and markets that drive economies worldwide. An opportunity exists to play a pivotal role on our Market Planning and Economic Impact Consulting team in Cambridge, MA.

In this role, you’ll manage a team delivering sustainable, profitable consulting projects across a number of industries. You’ll continually develop our analytical methodologies and leverage the resources and learning of other teams at IHS Markit. You should have deep knowledge of economic theory, modeling and analysis with macroeconomic and industry focus. Knowledge of input-output, large-scale multi-sector econometric models also required.

Desired Background and Skills:
• Masters or PhD in Applied Economics
• 5 or more years of relevant economic research experience
• Previous consulting experience is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of IHS Eviews and R is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to interface effectively at multiple levels within a client’s organization
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Occasional travel required (less than 10%)
