Full Text of JOE Listing:

We are seeking applicants for a post-doctoral fellow. The researcher will work under Andrei Shleifer and be housed in the Department of Economics at Harvard University. It is a one-year position to begin September 1st, 2017.

We invite applications from qualified candidates with a background in Experimental Economics. This position is funded through an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation grant to Andrei Shleifer for experimental projects related to his recent research with Pedro Bordalo and Nicola Gennaioli. The expectation is that the post-doctoral fellow will work primarily as a collaborator on joint projects and present joint work at major professional meetings.

The position is fully funded with no teaching requirements. The salary will be competitive.

The successful candidate is expected to have finished a Ph.D. in Economics by the start date. We have a preference for a candidate who will have secured a position for Fall 2018 by the start date and therefore will be not conducting an active job search during this fellowship. Candidates should have experience conducting experiments.
