The College of Engineering at the University of Missouri is embarking on a large-scale, multi-disciplinary hiring effort for multiple faculty in the area of Big Data Analytics.
We invite applications for multiple tenure/tenure-track positions in population analytics for public policy starting August 15, 2017. Positions may be at the assistant, associate, or full professor level and may be joint between the MU College of Engineering and other disciplines such as the MU Department of Economics and the Truman School of Public Affairs depending on the disciplinary background of the applicant. The focus for the positions is the analysis of population and economic data sources (e.g., U.S. Census, Internal Revenue Service), health data, social media, or network data for improved public policy-making.
Qualifications: Applicants should have an earned doctorate in economics, demography, industrial engineering/operations research, public policy, or a related field.
Salary: Salary commensurate with education and experience.
