The Department of Business Administration and Economics at Bielefeld University (Germany) invites applications for a position as a

Full Professor (W3, tenured) for Behavioral Economics.

Applicants should have a have a research focus on modeling and analyzing the behavior of (boundedly rational) agents, as well as their interaction, in economic environments. An excellent publication track record and international visibility in this area of research is expected. Applicants who combine a theoretical approach with experimental work are of particular interest.

It is expected that the successful candidate has the potential to contribute to the existing main research areas of the Department of Business Administration and Economics. Willingness to cooperate with the Center for Mathematical Economics or to make active use of the various opportunities available for engaging in interdisciplinary collaborations within Bielefeld University is desirable. Furthermore, we expect the successful candidate to actively contribute to existing and planned cooperative research projects of the Department of Business Administration and Economics or related Departments. Experience in obtaining external research grants is considered a plus. The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching within the Bachelor, Master and Doctoral programs of the Department as well as supervise doctoral students.
