The Canisius College Department of Economics & Finance, housed in the AACSB accredited Richard J. Wehle School of Business, is seeking applicants for two tenure track openings at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 2018. Applicants must possess or soon expect to receive a Ph.D. in Economics or Finance. We are interested in applicants with specializations in Banking, Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, International Finance, Financial Planning, Risk Management, and Insurance but candidates with specializations in all areas will be considered. The position requires effective teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and MBA levels.

Applicants should exhibit potential for publication of scholarly research. The standard teaching load is 3 courses per semester. The compensation package is competitive for AACSB accredited institutions.

Canisius College serves approximately 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The Economics & Finance department is comprised of 11 faculty members and serves more than 300 undergraduate majors as well as an MBA concentration in Finance. Department representatives will be interviewing candidates at the ASSA conference in Philadelphia in January 2018.
