The International Center for Finance (ICF) at Yale School of Management (SOM) invites applications for full time Pre-Doctoral Research Associate in Finance positions. The ICF brings together faculty, students and practitioners to foster leadership in the understanding, practice and management of finance from multiple perspectives. Its goal is to support innovative research and educational activities within the context of Yale School of Management’s broader perspective of business for the benefit of society.

This program provides an opportunity to gain experience in academic research before applying to a PhD program or other graduate study; and is designed for professionals with an undergraduate degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, or computer science.

Research Associates will work closely with SOM finance faculty assisting their research projects in various stages from conception through publication. The work may include, but is not limited to: quantitative/qualitative research and analysis, and coordination and management of information and data.

Applicants must have completed a Bachelors or Master’s degree by June 2017 and have strong quantitative and programming skills with regression analysis. Candidates with research experience in STATA, SAS, Python, R, or Matlab are strongly preferred.
