The Department of Economics at BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo, Norway invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor with start date in August 2018. Applicants from any field of economics will be considered, but candidates within IO and macro (both broadly defined) will be given priority.

The teaching load for the position is exceptionally low, and the salary is internationally competitive. The initial term for the position is four years, with the possibility of extension to a fifth year. Promotion to a tenured position will be evaluated in the fourth year. The Department of Economics has a bonus system for publications in selected journals, with up to 200,000 NOK per publication, and we provide ample support for research-related activities and conference travels.
