The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Goethe University Frankfurt with the Research Center SAFE is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to lead the project FiF (“Forschungsdateninfrastruktur für Finanzdaten”) financed by the German Science Foundation. The researcher will work as a data scientist and data manager to supervise the project. The objective is to build a data repository and intelligence pool to support and enhance finance research.

Your Profile:
• Holds a PhD in Finance, Economics, Econometrics or a related field.
• Very good knowledge of financial databases.
• Excellent knowledge of English, German would be an asset.
• Advanced skills in statistical software packages.

We offer:
An attractive working environment and the infrastructure of a research center with excellent contacts to the scientific and financial community. Compensation will be a full time position in accordance with the standard public services wage (TV-H E 13) for a duration of 36 months.
