Postdoc position at Igier Research Centre (Bocconi University), starting on September 2018 (details will be defined together with the scientific responsible).
Candidates need to hold a phd in economics or political science by September 2018.

Candidate will develop one or more of the following research subjects of the ERC Grant "The Political Economy of Power Relations".
1 - Power Wars
2 - Multilateral conflicts
3 - Repression versus cooptation by power holders
4 - Extremism and escalation
5 - Trade and conflict networks
6 - Dynamic models of institutions
Candidates with good theoretical or empirical skills to analyze conflict and trade networks or geographic information systems techniques will be given particular consideration.
