Postdoctoral Research Associate/Assistant Professor I and II

The African School of Economics has openings for two Postdoctoral Research Associates/Assistant Professors of economics starting in April 2019.
Candidates for these three-year appointments will work on a project housed at Princeton University, with significant travel to the African School of Economics in Benin and the Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa in Nigeria.
They will teach 1-2 courses each year at the African School of Economics while conducting research on a major education project in Nigeria (part of the RISE program).
Primary criteria for consideration are the quality of the applicant’s research, and strong interest and experience in applied microeconomics, economic history and/or political economy.
Candidates with research interests in Economics of Education are also encouraged to apply.
These positions are tenure track, with the option for renewal after the initial three-year appointments.
