Department of Economics, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

The Department of Economics in the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY seeks a candidate who possesses a well-established record of excellence in teaching and can advance the department’s undergraduate academic programs. The position of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Economics requires high-quality instruction, student advising, service to the department and the Institute, and research. To be considered for a Senior Lecturer position, the candidate must have a record of publications in peer-reviewed journals in Economics and successful teaching experience at the collegiate level.

The successful candidate will teach introductory and intermediate undergraduate courses in Economics, conduct research, and provide service to the department. The candidate is expected to be flexible in terms of the specific courses taught.

The candidate must have an earned Ph.D. in Economics by the time of the appointment.
