The Department of Economics invites applications for a non-tenure track (NTT) assistant professor position. This is a continuous, renewable position with a primary emphasis on teaching and some research expectations. The successful candidate will teach Principles of Macroeconomics and other courses depending on the candidate’s areas of specialty and departmental needs (e.g., M.B.A. courses, intermediate theory courses, data wrangling course, applied econometrics, industrial organization, public finance, economic history). A Ph.D. in economics by August, 2019, is preferred; candidates must have a master’s in economics or be ABD in economics. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate their suitability for a non-tenure track teaching position.
