The USC Viterbi School of Engineering and Price School of Public Policy invite applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in innovation, entrepreneurship, strategy, systems engineering, and technology policy in the Management of INnovation, Entrepreneurial Research, and Venture Analysis (MINERVA) group.

• One-year appointment renewable for up to three years
• Research position
• Appointment begins May 15, 2019

MINERVA is the home of Innovation Node-Los Angeles, a national NSF Innovation Corps ("I-Corps") Node with research aligned with technology policy and practice; funding/ data from NSF, NASA, DHS, DOD, and Propel(x) to study advancement of so-called "deep technologies" (i.e., based on fundamental physical, biological, mathematical, or computational advances; with remaining technical risk) across the Valley of Death, and associated interactions of public and private financing.

Excellent opportunity for a top candidate to hone research skills prior to joining a major university. Requirements:
• PhD, deep background in a quantitative discipline: Physics, engineering, applied mathematics, computer science, economics
• Strong statistics experience with "messy" data sets
• Experience with R, Stata, or equivalent
• Experience in multidisciplinary environments
