The Department of Economics (https://www.lsu.edu/business/economics/) invites applications for a full-time one-year visiting Assistant/Associate Professor level to begin in Fall 2019. Teaching experience is desirable. The successful applicant will teach the first semester of graduate microeconomics using Jehle and Reny as the textbook. Other courses could be principles of microeconomics and/or an undergraduate elective in the candidate’s area. The applicants must have a PhD in Economics by August 2019. Preferred JEL Classification for the position are D (Microeconomics) and J (Labor Economics).
Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. The Department has a strong research orientation and offers B.A., B.S., M.S, and Ph.D. degrees in Economics.
