Full Text of JOE Listing:
We are seeking to appoint a Tutor and Official Fellow of Harris Manchester College in Applied Economics. The post is for research and teaching interests in Macroeconomics, with a specialism in Economic Development or Political Economy.
The postholder is expected to engage in advanced research in the field of applied economics, with a specialism in economic development, political economy, or macroeconomics. S/he will also give high-quality lectures, classes and tutorials in applied economics at undergraduate and graduate level, and contribute to the teaching, research and academic administration and pastoral support at the College and the School.
The successful candidate should hold a doctorate in the field of applied economics and have a proven high standard of research and teaching. They should have the ability to carry out student assessment and graduate supervision, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate should be an innovative thinker that can work effectively with colleagues, with the willingness to participate in and assist in College life and governance.
