The University of South Alabama, Mitchell College of Business, invites applications for a tenure-track position in economics beginning January 2, 2020. The department is seeking an assistant/associate professor who is academically qualified to teach undergraduate/graduate economic courses. The ideal candidate should have strong foundations in macroeconomics and be capable of making significant contributions in this field. A publication record is preferred. In addition, a commitment to excellent teaching is required in courses that may include principles and advanced macroeconomics, econometrics, and/or money and banking. The rank is dependent on the candidate's qualifications. Candidates should have earned a doctorate degree in economics but ABDs will be considered.
