The Department of Economics and Finance of Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics position, effective Fall 2020.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses which include electives aligned with her or his expertise, international economics and a senior seminar capstone course in economic research. Responsibilities may also include occasional support in econometrics (familiarity in R programming preferred) and in the MBA program. The teaching load is seven courses (typically three preps) per academic year. The university expects instructional excellence and scholarly output appropriate for a school with AACSB accreditation of its undergraduate and MBA programs.
Requirements:
Candidates must have Ph.D. in Economics. ABD will be considered with Ph.D. required at time of appointment.
