The Economics Department at Colgate University invites applications for two tenure-stream positions beginning fall semester 2020. We have teaching needs in economic development and gender economics; preference will be given to candidates whose research interests are in either of these areas. We expect to hire at the Assistant Professor level, but outstanding candidates will be considered at the Associate or Full Professor level.
Colgate is a highly-selective liberal arts college in a rural community in central New York. Colgate faculty are committed to excellence in both teaching and scholarship. All Colgate faculty are expected to participate in all-university programs, including the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum. Completion of Ph.D. prior to or shortly after the date of hire is expected.
