The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank. Candidates with a specialization in applied macroeconomics will be considered. Additional consideration will be given to candidates with an emphasis in open economy macroeconomics and/or interest in teaching quantitative methods. The Department is seeking candidates with demonstrated teaching expertise and research potential in economics. Minimum qualifications include: Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field (Completion by August 2020 preferred. ABD applicants will be considered. If ABD, all requirements for the doctorate degree must be completed by January 2021); commitment to working effectively with a diverse student population; and interest in teaching undergraduate and M.A. courses.
