Full Text of JOE Listing:

Ashoka University is a new liberal Arts university, located in the outskirts of Delhi, India. Our goal is to build a vibrant faculty which excels in both teaching and research.

We will be recruiting several faculty positions at all ranks this year. While applications in all fields are invited, candidates specializing in Macroeconomics, Finance, International Economics, Environmental Economics and Public Economics are particularly welcome. Applicants must hold, or be close to completing, a PhD as well as possess teaching experience. Applicants for Assistant Professorship must possess a strong doctoral dissertation and research papers. Applicants for Associate or full Professorship must have a proven track record of publications. The university provides a generous pay package including research budgets.

Department representatives will attend the ASSA meeting in San Diego to hold initial interviews. Separate arrangements will be made for those unable to attend these meetings. Applicants must include a CV, sample research paper(s), teaching statement and three references. A cover letter may be included if any additional information needs to be communicated.

Deadlines: Applicants who want to be considered for interviews at the ASSA meetings in San Diego should apply by December 1, 2019.
