The Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas seeks to hire one tenure-system, open rank faculty in the Managerial Economics (MECO) area, beginning in Fall 2020. Candidates will be required to conduct high-quality research and publish his/her research in top-tier, refereed journals, develop and teach classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and engage in service activities within the university and the profession. An earned doctoral degree is required prior to joining, but those with ABD status will be considered at the application/interviewing stage.

The position is in applied microeconomics, and we are particularly interested in applicants with research interests that complement but broaden those of current MECO members. Those interests include auctions, contracts, cooperation/coordination, innovation, negotiation, networks, intellectual property rights, social utility, and strategic learning. MECO is also affiliated with the interdisciplinary Laboratory for Behavioral Operations and Economics.
