Post-Doc Researcher in Health Economics
The Department of Economics at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, will recruit one post-doc researcher in Health Economics during 2020. The position is initially a fixed two-year contract. Subject to satisfactory performance, there are opportunities for a two-year extension of the contract. The expected start date is September 2020, with some degree of flexibility.
Job Description/Qualifications:
Applicants should have completed, or be close to completing, a Ph.D. in (Health) Economics, or a related field. We are looking for candidates with a documented interest in health economic research. Candidates pursuing research in a field related to the organization of health care and health care markets are of particular interest. Within this field of research, the department can offer opportunities to access Swedish register data. Research potential will be the key selection criterion, and the successful candidate is expected to carry out research suitable for publication in highly ranked economics journals. The teaching load is light; English is the primary teaching language.
