ESMT Berlin is looking to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of Applied Microeconomics or Theoretical and/or Empirical Industrial Organization. The candidates, who do research on topics related to digital markets, will be given priority. The position starts on September 1st, 2020 (flexible). It offers competitive terms with top Business Schools in the US and Europe.
The PhD degree in Economics should be completed by the date of the appointment. Graduates of any country are eligible as long as the candidate is fluent in English.
ESMT Berlin offers an exciting research environment, enriching environment of an international business school, a low teaching load and no administrative obligations. Teaching will be mainly in graduate programs (MBA, Master in Management). There is a possibility to teach also PhD level courses that ESMT offers at the Berlin School of Economics. Located at ESMT you will be a part of an inspiring Berlin economics network with a number of distinguished scholars and young researchers working on both theoretical and applied microeconomics, and collaborating in many different dimensions, such as Berlin School of Economics, Berlin Economics Research Associates Program, Berlin Center for Consumer Policies, Berlin IO Days, workshops, seminar series, etc.
