All fields welcome. We are primarily a teaching institution with small classes, so priority is given to candidates with good undergraduate autonomous teaching experience commensurate with career stage, plus some evidence of good research. A CV, scored teaching evaluations and three confidential letters of recommendation plus referee contact details are required before an application file is complete. Suitable candidates will be invited to an on-campus or online interview. Our young, small but growing college faculty comprises PhD degree-holders including some from the very top US, Japanese and European PhD-granting research state and private universities. First closing date: March 1, 2020; second closing date (contingent on no offers made after the first closing): May 1, 2020. Our salaries are competitive with Japanese and comparable US/EU levels. We are located in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, within sight of Mount Fuji and within one hour of driving to the Fuji Five Lakes area, two hours by bus from Metropolitan Tokyo.
