The Tobin Center for Economic Policy at Yale University invites applications for a postdoctoral position in economics. The prospective postdoctoral scholar will work with faculty, students, and staff conducting policy-relevant education economics research. During the one or two-year fellowship, the successful candidate will develop their own research agenda and work with faculty on ongoing research. Their work will be supervised by Professors John Eric Humphries and Christopher Neilson. Our postdoctoral scholars will have access to our unique datasets, support of research assistants at the Tobin Center, and will be active members of the intellectual community at Yale.
Successful candidates should have a well-demonstrated interest in applied microeconomic research, strong communication and management skills, and have completed their PhD in economics, public policy or related fields within the last two years. The position is for one or two years, and the start date is negotiable. The salary is competitive and comes with a full benefits package.
