Florida International University invites applicants for possible multiple positions as Assistant or Associate Professor of Finance (tenure track) in the Department of Finance, College of Business. The candidate is expected to teach and conduct research in fixed income or derivatives, and environmental finance and other topics. Minimum requirements include an earned doctorate in finance or economics, demonstrated capabilities of publishing research in academic and practitioner-oriented finance journals (including but not limited to the Financial Times journal list). Candidates with an Economics PhD must have significant coursework in finance. The applicant must also have the ability to teach finance in the graduate programs. The expected starting date is Fall 2020. Individuals focusing on sustainability and environmental finance research issues are especially encouraged to apply. Selected individuals will work closely with the newly established research institute focusing on environmental and sustainability issues
