The Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs seeks a Staff Associate (Officer of Research) for a major research initiative on financing and policy design for carbon management, including carbon capture and storage, CO2 use, and CO2 removal. Successful execution will require generating original research, supporting internal and external research projects and communicating research findings clearly and concisely to a range of audiences in a manner that maximizes policy impact, as well as contributing to the Center’s wider research and convening efforts. The position will engage at a high level with key stakeholders; a high level of verbal and written communications, and cultural awareness, skills are required. The position will report to the Director of the Carbon Management Research Initiative.
Qualifications include Master’s Degree in the field of economics, public policy, international relations or a directly related field, or equivalent in training and experience.
