Harvard Business School’s (HBS) Private Capital Project (https://www.hbs.edu/private-capital) is seeking an outstanding early-career economist interested in alternative investments and/or entrepreneurship to visit HBS for two years (minimum of one year) of intensive research on venture capital, private equity or related fields. Topics might include the performance of these investments, their structure, and their impact on society. Applications from researchers who are just completing their PhDs, as well as from junior faculty members who may be able to combine this fellowship with an early career leave, are welcome.

One fellowship will be awarded for academic year 2020-2021. The fellowship consists of a full-time annualized salary of $75,000, access to Harvard’s health insurance, and includes work space at Harvard Business School. Fellows will be expected to work at HBS, and to participate actively in HBS seminars and other related activities. Fellowship-related activities are expected to represent the fellow’s primary responsibility.
