PSEA, a professional labor organization has an opening for a Researcher. The responsibilities include developing & analyzing salary schedule proposals; conducting statistical analyses of salary & health care databases; analyzing school district initiatives to subcontract bargaining unit work; providing analyses for living wage campaigns; conducting analyses to build membership & identify potential organizing targets; developing & delivering expert testimony at fact-finding and arbitration proceedings; analyzing health care plans and developing strategies to improve or maintain benefits at lower costs.

Candidates will possess an advanced degree in Labor Relations, Economics, Organizational Behavior or a relevant field of study. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree will be considered if high levels of quantitative and statistical skills including experience analyzing large, complex datasets are demonstrated. Excellent computer knowledge (including a statistical package), quantitative skills, and strong written and verbal skills are required.
