Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Bank of Korea is seeking economists to conduct research in the above-listed field.

(1) Q5 Environmental Economics
This selected will be expected to conduct research regarding impacts of climate change on the macro-economy and financial stability using economic models including Integrated Assessment Models, scenario analyses and stress tests.

(2) O Economic Development, Innovation, Technological change, and Growth
This position will be expected to conduct research regarding North Korea economy such as monetary, economic integration for Korean reunification and financial.

Requirements include a Ph.D. in economics or a related field. Salary and position are commensurate with the economist’s background and experience. New Ph.D. applicants will need to complete all requirements for their degrees by the end of September 2020.
