The Economic Studies program at the Brookings Institution is seeking a Fellow & Policy Director of The Hamilton Project (THP). The right candidate will assist with the development and direction of the policy agenda for THP. Works with the Director to develop and execute an overall policy agenda and policy strategy for The Hamilton Project. Coordinates the work of outside academics and policy analysts to implement the policy agenda and undertakes high-quality research on behalf of THP. Coordinates and undertakes analysis published by THP on a wide range of topics. Works closely with and supervises the Project’s research assistants. The Policy Director will also at times moderate panels, solo author research, speak with media, and interact with The Hamilton Project board. The position is also a Fellow in Economic Studies and includes being active in the intellectual life of Economic Studies at Brookings. Ph.D. required with focus in Economics or Public Policy preferred. Minimum four years of related post-doctorate work experience required, including practical experience with current economic and public policy issues.
