ICF is seeking recent PhD - Senior Economics Analyst to join our Regulatory, Policy and Economics business portfolio. We hire problem-solvers, strong analytical thinkers who thrive working on a fast-paced team. Interested in Federal public-sector clients, energy issues, including decarbonization, electricity demand forecasting, and economic impacts? WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU. We work with virtually all federal agencies; key clients include the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Transportation, Department of Labor, the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Interior, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission as well as other federal, state and local agencies, and select non-profit and private-sector clients.
Requirements: PhD in economics, 0-2 years of experience, Ability to obtain government security clearance, U.S. Citizenship required by federal government for position.
Role: As a Senior Economics Analyst on the Economics team, you will interact with Federal and State government economists and other regulatory program staff. You will manage work on short- and long-term projects focused on policies and regulations affecting various areas including energy, environment, labor, transportation, homeland security, immigration, and others. A portion of your work products may be published for public comment in the Federal Register.
