Full Text of JOE Listing:
Bard College’s low-residency MBA in Sustainability program, based in New York City, has an opening for a visiting faculty member to teach our microeconomics course with a focus on sustainability. The course is offered annually in the summer and fall. Bard’s MBA program fully integrates sustainability into a business curriculum. Bard students master the business case for sustainability, understanding how to align profit with social and environmental goals. In addition, all courses cultivate the development of anti-racist business leaders. Faculty members teach during intensive weekend residencies held once a month in Manhattan; in addition, they teach an online evening session each week between the monthly residencies. The low-residency format allows flexibility in residential location.
MBA faculty members are expected to have earned a Ph.D., J.D., M.B.A., M.P.A., or equivalent degree. Successful candidates will have an established record of excellence in teaching. Visit the MBA website http://www.bard.edu/mba.
To apply, send a cover letter, CV, and names and contact information for three references to Interfolio.com at http://apply.interfolio.com/83631 In your cover letter, please address how you could contribute to the program's goals with regard to teaching antiracist business practices and diversity, equity, and inclusion more broadly.
