London Business School is a leading international centre of business education and research.
The Department of Economics at London Business School is seeking to recruit a Research Fellow for an ESRC funded project (“Investigating an Economic Longevity Dividend”) under Professor Andrew Scott.
Candidates should have a strong grounding in macroeconomics and life cycle models, a knowledge of demography is an advantage A familiarity with large datasets is important and appropriate coding skills essential. Evidence of project management skills is also important.
The successful candidate will have a PhD from a leading institution or be near completion.
The post offers substantial opportunity to contribute to the project and resulting papers and provides funding for conference attendance. Candidates should provide in their application a detailed outline of how their experience and training would enable them to contribute to the research project and details of their own research, if relevant. The ideal starting date is 1 September 2021 but with some flexibility.
The post will be offered fixed-term, full-time, for a period of 1 year (possibly extended subject to grant funding for a further 18 months). Salary up to £45,000 including London weighting, depending upon relevant qualifications and experience.
