Mercer University’s Stetson-Hatcher School of Business (AACSB accredited) invites applications for a full-time tenure track Faculty of Economics or Management Science position on Mercer’s Macon campus beginning August 2021. Candidates should have demonstrated research capabilities and strong teaching effectiveness. Primary duties include teaching 3 courses (at both the undergraduate and graduate level) per semester, mentoring students, publishing in peer-reviewed academic journals, and participating in school or university committees

The primary teaching responsibilities associated with this position will be in the areas of quantitative methods, decision analysis, and business analytics. The ability to teach undergraduate and graduate quantitative methods courses using industry standard data analytics software like R/RStudio and/or Python/Pandas is a plus and/or supply chain management. Ideal candidates will have the ability and/or willingness to teach online or in a face-to-face format.

A Ph.D. in economics or management science or a related area from an accredited college university is required. ABD candidates will be considered at the rank of Instructor until Ph.D. is obtained.
